Parents Guidelines

Recognizing that student safety is of utmost importance, parents/caregivers, drivers, and students are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:

Parents and Caregivers are expected to:

  • Ensure their child is ready and waiting at the designated pickup point at least five minutes before the scheduled departure time.

  • Arrange for a responsible adult to meet the vehicle after school, when necessary.

  • Have backup plans in place in case the vehicle is delayed.

Drivers are expected to:

  • Operate the vehicle professionally and responsibly at all times.

  • Remain at the pickup location until the scheduled departure time.

  • Assist with loading and unloading students, including those requiring special assistance, such as students in wheelchairs.

  • Report any incidents of student misconduct to parents.

  • Maintain order and prioritize the safety of students aboard the vehicle.

  • Treat all students, parents, and school board staff with courtesy and respect.

Students are expected to:

  • Arrive at the pickup point and be ready to board at least five minutes before the scheduled departure time.

  • Stay seated safely whenever the vehicle is moving.

  • Act responsibly and follow all instructions provided by the driver.
