Parents Guidelines
Recognizing that student safety is of utmost importance, parents/caregivers, drivers, and students are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:
Parents and Caregivers are expected to:
Ensure their child is ready and waiting at the designated pickup point at least five minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Arrange for a responsible adult to meet the vehicle after school, when necessary.
Have backup plans in place in case the vehicle is delayed.
Drivers are expected to:
Operate the vehicle professionally and responsibly at all times.
Remain at the pickup location until the scheduled departure time.
Assist with loading and unloading students, including those requiring special assistance, such as students in wheelchairs.
Report any incidents of student misconduct to parents.
Maintain order and prioritize the safety of students aboard the vehicle.
Treat all students, parents, and school board staff with courtesy and respect.
Students are expected to:
Arrive at the pickup point and be ready to board at least five minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Stay seated safely whenever the vehicle is moving.
Act responsibly and follow all instructions provided by the driver.
